Kempegowda International Airport has been awarded the SKYTRAX “Best Regional Airport in Central Asia” during the World Airport Awards 2015 held in Paris on Wednesday.
The award is based on a “passenger satisfaction survey” and given to airports operating short international and domestic flights, said a release.
More than 13.02 million customer feedback was taken for 550 airports worldwide, it added.
“It is indeed heartening that the results are being seen and felt by our passengers across the globe,” said G V Sanjay Reddy, Managing Director of Bengaluru International Airport Limited.
