Special trains to clear extra rush

The railways will continue the bi-weekly special train between Yeshwantpur and Pandharapur and also the Hubli-Bijapur daily express train to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer.

BENGALURU: The railways will continue the bi-weekly special train between Yeshwantpur and Pandharapur and also the Hubli-Bijapur daily express train to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer.
From April 2 to June 30, Yeshwantpur and Pandharapur sp ecial train will run 26 trips in each direction. The train will leave Yeshwantpur on Monday and Thursday at 6pm to reach Pandharpur at 11.35am, the next day. On its way back, the train will depart from Pandharapur at 1.35pm on Tuesday and Friday to reach Yeshwantpur at 6.20am, the next day.

The Hubli-Bijapur daily passenger special will run 183 trips in each direction from April 1 to September 30. The trains will leave Hubballi at 6.25am every day to reach Vijayapura at 1pm. On the return jouney, the trains will depart from Vijayapura at 1.30pm to reach Hubballi at 8.20 pm on the same day.
