Dalit teen, married woman raped in separate incidents

INDORE: A minor dalit girl was raped in Mandsaur district while another person was arrested from Dewas on charges of raping his friend’s wife.
In Suwasara area of Mandsaur district, a 15-year-old dalit girl was allegedly raped in jungles by a youth hailing from neighbouring Rajasthan on Friday evening. According to police sources, accused youth Madan Das Bairagi, a native of Dokarkhedi in Rajasthan saw the girl alone in the jungles in Suwasara and caught hold of the teenaged girl and raped her.
Accused also threatened to kill the girl, if she made the matter public. However, on returning home she narrated about the incident to her parents after which the case was reported at Suwasara police station. Police have booked accused youth under Sections 376, 506 of IPC and also under provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and the investigations in the case have been transferred to the AJK-Mandsaur police station.
Woman raped: Meanwhile, Bank Note Press police station in Dewas district arrested a 25-year-old man Ibrahim for raping the wife of his friend in Nusratnagar locality twice. Alleged rape survivor woman, who is mother of a boy, alleged before BNP police on Friday night, that labourer Ibrahim, who is her husband’s friend raped her twice in absence of her husband in last 20 days.
Ibrahim also threatened to kill the woman’s husband, if she reported the matter to the police. However, gathering courage despite threats by Ibrahim, the woman and her husband reported the matter to BNP police on Friday night.
According to BNP police station in charge RD Mishra, the rape accused was arrested on Saturday evening.
