Penang: Two police personnel who were found sleeping on their job at a police beat in Mak Mandin, Butterworth, have been transferred to the North Seberang Perai district police headquarters.Penang police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Abdul Rahim Hanafi said he had ordered them to be transferred within 24 hours."The disciplinary board is investigating the matter. The two personnel will be transferred there while we await the next course of action.

"I view this matter seriously and stern action will be taken," he said in a statement yesterday.
