Guwahati: In a joint operation, troops of the Army’s Agia Brigade, under the aegis of the Red Horns Division, and Kokrajhar Police nabbed three National Santhal Liberation Army (NSLA) militants and a linkman on Friday in Kashiabari village, under Gossaigaon PS.
One 7.62 mm SLR with magazine, 20 cartridges of 7.62 mm ammunition, two country-made pistols and a hand-grenade, among other things, were seized from them.
One rebel has been identified as Sonyram Soren, the right-hand man of Framjeet, alias Dadiya, NSLA area commander of Kashiabari.
The other two are Shivlal Hembrom and Dhub Kisku. The linkman has been identified as Roshan Murmu.
