DARBHANGA: The 22nd state conference of CPI on Friday unanimously approved a political resolution pleading for triangular fight during the next assembly election in the state. For this, the delegates called for unity among Left parties on a common agenda targeted at benefitting the poor.
The JD (U)-RJD-Congress combine as well as the BJP would be given a tough fight by the Left parties, party's national working committee member U N Mishra said quoting the CPI resolution.

The delegates during the deliberations opined centrist parties like Congress and others helped the Narendra Modi government pass a controversial Bill for increase in FDI in the insurance sector in the Rajya Sabha recently. "The centrist and rightist parties at times join hands. Hence, there's an urgent need to fight the rightist forces," Mishra said.
CPI general secretary S Sudhakar Reddy, while addressing party workers on the inaugural day of the conference at the local Raj ground on Thursday, said massive publicity by the BJP at a huge cost during electioneering for the Lok Sabha polls last year as well as various scams during the UPA rule led to the formation of Modi government at the centre.
"The promises of good days made by Modi have proved true only for corporate houses, big capitalists and rich people of the country," he said and added bad days have arrived for 'aam aadmi' as is reflected in the general budget presented by the NDA government.
