The iShares U.S. Healthcare Providers ETF (IHF) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 111,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 62,000. Shares of IHF were off about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were UnitedHealth Group (UNH), trading down about 0.5% with over 1.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Express Scripts Holding (ESRX), down about 1.3% on volume of over 1.1 million shares. Bioscrip (BIOS) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 3.1% on the day, while Corvel (CRVL) is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Healthcare Providers ETF, trading lower by about 3.1%.
