National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra invites application for admission to 2 years Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered at Department of Business Administration for the session 2015-17

Self-Financed Category: 30 Seats

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University u/s 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India / AIU

This degree must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (Class 12 or equivalent) 10+2+3 system

The minimum percentage requirement is of 50% (45% for SC/ST applicants); basis for admission is the current year CAT Score i.e. 2014

Note: Although the Institute will use current session scores in CAT to shortlist candidates for its two-year full time Post-Graduate Degree Program in Management., the IIM's have no role in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

Fee- Structure:

For Regular Seats: The fee for the regular seats is same as the fee structure for other PG courses of the institute; the tuition fee is Rs.35000/- per semester; at the time of admission total fees to be paid by day scholar is Rs 47,850/- including Rs 5,000/- refundable security and for hostler it is Rs.49650/- inclusive of Rs.7000/- Security

For Self-Financed Seats: At the time of admission total fees to be paid by day scholar is Rs.62850/- including Rs.5000/- refundable security and for hostler it is Rs.64650/- inclusive of Rs.7000/- Security. Room charges depend upon occupancy (Single, Double, Triple or Four Seater room choice); the tuition fee is Rs.50000/- per semester

Application Procedure:

Download the Application Form from the website www.nitkkr.ac.in; fill and send the application form complete in all respects along with all relevant documents and application fee before the due date

Applicants List will be put up on the institute website along with the Group Discussion/ Personal Interview schedule to be held at NIT Kurukshetra in the month of May 2015

No separate intimation will be given for Group discussion/Personal Interview; based on the performance in Group Discussion/ Personal Interview and CAT score a merit list is prepared and displayed on the institute website; waitlisted candidates are offered admission if seats stay vacant

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs.1000/- is to be deposited in the form of Demand Draft obtained from State Bank of India only in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, payable at NIT Kurukshetra Branch (Code 6260), Kurukshetra

List of enclosures; attested copy each of B.E./B.Tech/graduation examination detailed marks/proof of appearing in final graduation examination obtained from Head of the institution for those passing out in 2014; category certificate (if applicable); CAT 2014 score card (photo copy); demand draft for Rs.1000/-
