March 13, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - Hyderabad:

Flight operations will commence shortly at the Kadapa Airport with Turbo Megha Airways coming forward. The Airport work was completed long ago, but it did not take off because of poor response from airlines, said Municipal Administration Minister, P. Naryana. Replying to a question by Amjad Basha Shaik Bepari of the YSRC, he said the government was persuading airline companies to commence services. The Minister denied Mr. Basha’s charge that the government was delaying commencement of operations at the airport because it was named after YSR.
