Gaza society thanks King for supporting orphans

GAZA — Alweaam Charitable Society (WCS) in the Gaza Strip on Thursday welcomed His Majesty King Abdullah’s decision to renew the Royal makruma to support WCS orphans.
WCS President Mohammad Abu Meri said the Royal gesture reflects the King’s generosity.
The makruma, worth $1.8 million annually, benefits 1,500 orphans in the strip.
