Plans for a new suburb in northeast Transcona could be moving forward.
A special meeting of the city’s property and development committee will convene Friday morning to discuss the Northwoods development.
The 159-acre plan will eventually see 700 single-family lots built over 33 blocks at Redonda Street and Gunn Road. It also includes 13 acres of green space.
The developer will be responsible for building a dog park, roundabout and four unheated bus shelters.
