Chiranjeevi and Radhika rake in Rs 3 crore!

The Chiranjeevi Sarja and Girish Karnad-starrer Rudratandava has earned more than three crores in the first week alone. The movie, which is still in theatres, is said to be doing well in the second week as well.
Directed by Guru Deshpande, the movie has Chiranjeevi and Radhika Kumaraswamy in lead roles. Although the movie has a romantic track, the father-son relationship — between Girish and Chiru and Girish and Kumar Govind — is said to be the highlight of the movie.
Rudratandava is the Kannada remake of the Tamil hit Pandiya Naadu and before the release, Guru was confident that the movie would tug at the audience's heartstrings and that they would take back a message with them. Well, going by the numbers, something sure seems to have worked!
