Known to most as the voice of the popular Indian band Orange Street, Anirban Chakraborty aka Bann is making a name for himself as a successful singer, composer and lyricist in the Hindi film industry.

Known to most as the voice of the popular Indian band Orange Street, Anirban Chakraborty aka Bann is making a name for himself as a successful singer, composer and lyricist in the Hindi film industry.
Bann made his Bollywood debut with a rustic Sufieque track from Vicky Donor titled Mar Jayian. He was nominated for this song for the Mirchi Music Awards. Next, he worked on UTV’s Peter Gaya Kaam Se.
Now Bann’s work for his third movie project NH10 is winning over the audience. He has worked on five songs for the Anushka Sharma - starrer which is set to release this month.

Starting as the founder and frontman of the band Orange Street that toured across Europe and Scandinavia in early 2000, Bann has made a career for himself in the music business as a producer/composer for ad films for over a decade with campaigns like Tata Tea - Jaago Re among others. As the Director of Rock Street Journal, Bann is working on India Music Week Focus Sessions to bridge the gap between different facets of the music industry. He’s expected to the popular Great Indian Rock festival (GIR) this year, as independent music journal Rock Street Journal (RSJ) completes 22 years.
