Girl student hangs self to death

NAGPUR: A 15-year-old girl wrote a letter to her friend before ending life by hanging herself at her Yashodhara Bhavan, Gandhibagh residence on Tuesday night. The deceased, identified as Vaishnavi Nandanvar, was a ninth standard student of Saint Xavier’s school.
Police said that Vaishnavi was in her room when she took the extreme step.
Her father Dinesh is an executive engineer at PWD office while mother is a homemaker.Vaishnavi has a 9-year-old brother.
Cops informed that no suicide note was found but the girl had written a letter to her friend. She had mentioned in the letter to her friend to study well and she will not be there to take care of her.
The parents informed police that Vaishnavi was very good in studies and there was no tension around that forced her to end life. Police are investigating further.
