Huadian Fuxin Energy (00816) said it agreed to acquire 0.6% equity interest in Huadian Coal at Rmb120 million from Shifu No.1 (Tianjin) Energy Equity Investment Fund Co., Ltd.
Huadian Coal is primarily engaged in the coal projects, coal chemistry projects, coal-electricity integrated projects, coal processing, coal transportation and the investment and development in overseas coal projects. The company believes the acquisition will strengthen its investments in unlisted companies.
China Huadian Corporation, the controlling shareholder of Huadian Fuxin, holds 42.65% equity interest in Huadian Coal.
