The police on Tuesday busted a fake job racket and arrested two persons on the charges of duping youths seeking jobs with a Kerala-based private airline company.

The arrested were identified as Deepak Anto, 25, a native of Chalakudy in Thrissur district and Syyed Adhil Parvez, a resident of Kavadiyar in Thiruvananthapuram, who had been operating the racket near the Nedumbassery airport.

The duo, employed with a ground handling agency, allegedly conducted interviews to the post of pilots for Joy Jets at a hotel near the airport about three months ago.

The arrests were based on a formal complaint lodged by the airline to P.P. Shams, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Aluva on March 6. Deepak was arrested from his home in Chalakudy while Adhil was taken into custody from Thiruvananthapuram.
