E Champaran MLA adopts three villages

Keeping in tune with PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana’, Pawan Kumar Jaiswal, an independent MLA, has adopted three villages on Indo-Nepal border in his assembly constituency of Dhaka in East Champaran district to transform these villages under his self- styled ‘Vidhayak Adarsh Gram Yojana.’

MOTIHARI: Keeping in tune with PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana’, Pawan Kumar Jaiswal, an independent MLA, has adopted three villages on Indo-Nepal border in his assembly constituency of Dhaka in East Champaran district to transform these villages under his self- styled ‘Vidhayak Adarsh Gram Yojana.’
Jaiswal, who defeated JD(U) candidate in the last assembly polls, has taken a vow to mobilize the villagers towards positive common action.
This action of the young legislator has become a matter of discussion among politicians and public in general .
At a colourful function organized on Monday in Chandanbara village under Dhaka police station, Jaiswal announced that he has adopted Chandanbara , Parsa and Basatpur villages under ‘Vidhayak Adarsh Gram Yojana’ for their all-round development . DDC Anil Kumar Chaudhary, SDM Swapnil and other officials of Sikrahna sub-division participated in the function. Jaiswal said he has taken responsibility to develop physical and institutional infrastructure in these villages in short time to turn these villages into model one.
He further said PM Modi has already called upon each MLA to transform villages in their constituency and he started the scheme first in his state .
Jaiswal further announced that 50 LED bulbs in each of three villages would be fitted as street light this week from his area development fund. Training centre for making spice packets, drinking water bottles, candles, rope making, book binding , stitching etc will be started soon to develop the skill to generate employment in these villages . Computer training will be also launched here soon.
Chandanbara village of Dhaka is a unique village of the state where an Arabic university -Jamiya Imam Ibn Taimiya-is situated in 50 acres of land in which more than 2,000 girl and boys study since 1964.
