Road show taken out to mark SOI zonal president’s appointment

Addressing mediapersons, Dugri said a wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal, the SOI would play a crucial role in the next 2017 Assembly elections and would continue to work under the leadership of Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia. Dugri said the SOI would be strengthened in the coming days and organisational structure of Ludhiana, Moga and Ropar would be announced shortly.

The road show started from the residence of Youth Akali Dal leader Ravinderpal Singh Minku on Collage Road and ended at Gurdwara Dukhnivaran Sahib.

Among the senior leaders present were MLAs Manpreet Singh Ayali, Ranjit Singh Dhillon, Madan Lal Bagga, Harbhajan Singh Dang, Tarsem Singh Bhinder, Kamaljit Singh Karwal, Jagjivan Pal Singh Khirnia, Kamaljit Singh Mallah, Inderiqbal Singh Atwal, Jagjit Singh Talwandi, Jaspal Singh Giaspura, Rakhwinder Singh Tinku, Jagbir Singh Sokhi and Sahib Chawla.
