Eye-Q Super Specialty Eye Hospitals has raised ₹60 crore from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Helion Venture Partners and Nexus Venture Partners. Of this, ₹34 crore has been invested by IFC.
The company, which had earlier said it aims at achieving revenue of ₹400 crore by 2018, is primarily focused on tier-II and III cities in northern States of Haryana, UP, Uttarakhand and Gujarat.
“Eye-Q has provided treatment to over1 million patients till date and will use the funding to expand access to world class, high quality and affordable eye care treatments in India. Eye-Q has a unique combination of very experienced doctors and strong management team and plans to more than double its patient reach,” the company said in a statement.
