Tennis player Simona Halep has been named Sportswoman of the Month for February.
The Romanian topped the poll ahead of England cricket captain Charlotte Edwards who finished second and modern pentahlete Samantha Murray who was placed third.
Current World No. 3 Halep enjoyed a fine start to the year, winning the Shenzen Open in January before going on to secure her 10th career title when she claimed the Dubai Championship last month.
The 23-year-old has been struggling with a rib injury of late, forcing her to miss the Qatar Open, but is scheduled to take part in the WTA event at Indian Wells.
