Around 300 lab assistants of Haryana protested against the state government near Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, on Monday.

PANCHKULA: Around 300 lab assistants of Haryana protested against the state government near Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, on Monday. Riot control team stopped them near Bella Vista chowk as they marched to gherao the sadan.
Later, five members of Haryana State Computer Lab Assistants were allowed to meet chief project officer (CPO), secondary education, H R Satija.
They said, "The CPO assured us that our pending salaries of eight months will be released by March 20 and the proposal of increasing our salaries from Rs 6,000 to Rs 15,000 will be taken into consideration."
The president of Haryana State Computer Lab Assistants, Surinder, said, "Satija will also apprise the CM of our demands."
"We are on indefinite strike till our demands are met," said protesters.
