Lok Satta Party has invited suggestions from citizens on how to utilise ‘Nirbhaya Fund’ for the benefit of victims of atrocities. LSP founder president Jayaprakash Narayan said in Hyderabad on Monday it was deplorable that not even a rupee was utilised out of Rs.2,000 crore Nirbhaya Fund set up in 2013. Instead of spending the fund as it liked, the government should take suggestions of people, he said. LSP launched a web pagewww.loksatta.org/nirbhayaon March 8 seeking suggestions on how to curtail atrocities and for women empowerment. The best suggestions would be brought to the notice of the Union government, he said.
