Tell us about your character in the Colorsâ show Swaragini? Ragini is a simple girl. She is very obedient and can never go against her family. Sheâs also a talented sitar player. I can relate to her. Just like Ragini, I come from a family with a musical background. I have learnt classical music for four years.
You are playing a Marwari in the show. Did you have to work on your dialect or go through any workshops for music? I did not have to work a lot on the dialect because I am not using that accent.
But yes, I do have to use âhumâ in my dialogues instead of âmainâ. Iâm shown playing sitar on the show, I had to learn the basics of the instrument during a month-and-a-half-long workshop. Also, I take tips from my screen
dadi, Alka Kaushal. There are a lot of things Iâm not perfect at. So, she assists me with that.

nani, is a Bengali and she keeps guiding me
