CSMCRI scholars hold protest

BHAVNAGAR: Research scholars at the Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) held a protest
on Saturday night for delay in action against a chief scientist accused of sexually harassing five female employees.
The protesters sat on a candle light vigil stating that no action has been taken against professor Bhavanath Jha despite a complaint being lodged in April last year.The matter is being probed by a committee constituted by Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). It was to hold a hearing earlier this month but was postponed. without any reason, said a protester.
