Gesture for Swachh Bharat initiative

CMR and MVR showrooms proprietor Mavuri Venkata Ramana donated an amount of Rs. 6.50 lakh to the Rotary Club Visakha Port City for constructing toilets under ‘Swachh Bharat’ programme in the city. Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao handed over the cheque on behalf of Ramana to the president of the club P.L.K. Murthy on Saturday.

Murthy said that the club will set up 13 water purifying drinking units in various places in the city. Earlier, Symbiosis Technologies CEO Naresh Kumar donated an amount of Rs. 3 lakh, and vizagrebuild.org donated Rs. 6.20 lakh to the club. Rotary Club Visakha Port City secretary R. Ramakrishna Rao and others participated in the programme.
