Ghanaian player Albert Adomah was in action for his Middlesbrough side in the English Championship on Saturday.

The Ghanaian played 70 minutes of the away game against Nottingham Forest which saw his Middlesbrough side lose all three points with a 2-1 defeat after the home side staged a comeback.

Grant Leadbitter opened the scoring for Middlebrough but Gary Gardner leveled the scores before the first half interval.

Dexter Blackstock scored the winner in the second half to deny Middlesbrough any point in the game.

Afriyie Acquah had 67 minutes of playing time with his Sampdoria side against Godfred Donsah's Cagliari in the Italian Serie A on Saturday.

The Ghanaian and his side won the home game by two goals to nil. Lorenzo Die Silvestri opened the scoring in the first half before former Barcelona and Chelsea player Samuel Eto'o added a second on his debut for the club.

Afriyie Acquah was booked before being replaced by Roberto Soriano in the 2-0 victory for Sampdoria.

Another Ghana international Alfred Duncan had the chance to feature in the game as he replaced goal scorer Samuel Eto'o for the last four minutes of regular time.

Sulley Muntari made a return to his AC Milan side in the Italian Serie A on Saturday, starting the home game against Hellas Verona.

The Ghanaian and his Milan club made a comeback from a goal down to take the lead in the game but eventually drew via a late goal from Nicolas Lopez for away side Hellas Verona.

Luca Toni opened the scoring from the penalty spot for away side Hellas Verona in the 18 minute. Jeremy Menez equalized from the spot for AC Milan as both sides went into the first half break with a goal apiece.

Panagiotis Tachtsidis put the ball at the back of his own net to hand AC Milan the lead in the game.

Nicolas Lopez however scored in the additional minutes after regular time of play to cancel out his team mate's own goal as both sides shared the spoils in the 2-2 draw.

Ghanaian player Michael Essien did not play a part in the draw as his international team mate Sulley Muntari played in the entire duration of the game.

Abdul Baba Rahman was in action on Saturday afternoon in the German Bundesliga for his Augsburg side.

The Ghanaian who has been a regular for his German club with other top clubs showing interest due to a series of good performances started and played in the entire duration of the home game between his Augsburg side and Wolfsburg.

Augsburg who were playing at home grabbed all three points via an only goal from Dominik Kohr in the second half of the game to keep their chase for a spot in the UEFA Champions League competition for next season a possibility.

Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman won the penalty that led to the only goal of the game for Augsburg.

Augsburg is also the only side to defeat Wolfsburg in the year 2015.

Kevin-Prince Boateng missed his Schalke 04 team's Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim on Saturday. Schalke 04 won the game by three goals to one on home soil.

Jonathan Mensah finally got some playing minutes in the French Ligue 1 after staying out of the starting line-up for his Evian Thonon Gaillard side for a while.

The Ghanaian was given a starting position and went on to play in the entire duration of the game as his side lost 3-1 at home to Monaco.

Rashid Sumaila scored for his Al Qadsia side in the Kuwaiti League as his side won comfortable by a three-goal margin against Sulaibikhat.

The goal was Sumaila's second in all competitions after joining Al Quadsia on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.
