KHL player attempts trick shot with his team leading 6-0

Jokerit held a 6-0 lead against Dinamo Minsk in KHL Eastern Conference quarterfinals on Thursday, but former NHL player Linus Omark looked to pad the lead.

Jokerit was on a power play and Omark got the puck behind the net. With Minsk covering all the passing lanes in front of the net, Omark tried to do something tricky. He picked the puck up with the blade of his stick and tried to throw it off the goalie's back into the net.

It did not work and Minsk did not appreciate Omark's attempt to embarrass them. One Minsk player grabbed Omark's stick and the other gave him a shove.

This isn't the first time Omark has tried to pull this move. Back in 2008 he attempted the same thing when he was playing in Sweden.

Jokerit still managed to hang on for a 7-1 win and advance to the semifinals.
