Jiiva-Deekay film gets a title

We had earlier told you that director Deekay of Yaamirukka Bayamey fame will be teaming up with Jiiva for a new film. Now, the project has got a title ��� Kavalai Vendam. The film���s producer Elred Kumar tells us, ���As the title suggests, this is a total feel-good film. It is in the romcom genre and will see Jiiva in a happy-go-lucky guy role, something that has worked for him in films like Siva Manasula Sakthi.���
The team will start shooting for this film by April end in Coorg, though some portions will also be shot in Chennai.While the heroine is yet to be decided, Karunakaran, who was a major player in Deekay���s earlier film, and comedian Mayilsamy are part of the cast. Actor Simhaa will be seen in a cameo.
Elred also says that they have retained the composer of Yaamirukka Bayamey, SN Prasad, for this one. ���The song recording is presently going on. While the other film���s music was used to enhance the fun, in this film, there will be more importance to music as it is a romantic film,��� he adds.
