Kia will soon offer a midsize station wagon… In Europe.

Previewing the upcoming Optima wagon, the Korean automaker debuted the Sportspace concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and was quick to confirm that it’s heading to production. Designed by the company’s European design studio in Frankfurt, its styling carries international influence, taking the existing traditional Kia design but adding a bit of spice to make it even sportier and more attractive.

It is unlikely that the production Optima wagon will arrive North America given how unfavored wagons are in the U.S. What can be expected is the styling to trickle down to other Kia models, including the new Optima that will be debuting in the near future.
