Over 40,000 students appear for Plus-Two exams

In 141 centres across Vellore district

The plus two public examinations commenced on Thursday with the Language paper I

Over 40,000 students appeared for the examination in Vellore district.

Students from 306 higher secondary schools were appearing for the board examinations in 141 centres across the district. A total of 20,368 boys and 22,070 girls were writing the exam.

A total of 325 officers were part of the flying squads to check on malpractices during the exam.

The question papers were kept at 20 centres in Vellore and Tirupattur education districts, while the answer scripts were kept at two centres.

The exams will go on till March 31.

Collector R. Nanthagopal inspected the exam centre at E.V.R. Nagammai Government Girls Higher Secondary School.
