Meet the Full Cast of Larry David's FISH IN THE DARK, Opening Tonight on Broadway!

FISH IN THE DARK, the new comedy written by and starring Larry David, is running for an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, June 7 at the Cort Theatre. Opening night is tonight, March 5. Scroll down to learn more about the company and watch highlights from the play!

The comedy, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, also stars Rita Wilson, Rosie Perez, Jayne Houdyshell,Ben Shenkman and Lewis J. Stadlen, heading a cast of 18.

The production has scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design byBrian MacDevitt, sound design by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen, and original music by David Yazbek.

LARRY DAVID
Playwright, Norman Drexel

Larry David co-created "Seinfeld," which debuted in 1989 and went on to become one of the most successful shows in television history. In 1999, David wrote and starred in "Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm," a one-hour special for HBO, which spawned the critically acclaimed HBO series that ran for eight seasons. In 2009, he starred in Woody Allen's comedy Whatever Works. Most recently, he co-wrote and starred in the HBO Films comedy "Clear History," which aired in 2013.

RITA WILSON
Brenda Drexel

Rita Wilson returns to Broadway after her debut as Roxie in Chicago. Other theatre credits: Dinner with Friends and the world premieres ofDistracted and Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Film credits include Sleepless in Seattle, It's Complicated, Runaway Bride, and, forthcoming in 2015, Dawn Patrol and Brother-in-Laws.Television appearances include recurring roles on both "Girls" and "The Good Wife," as well as the upcoming DIRECTV series "Full Circle." She also appeared in the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode "The Doll." As a film producer, her first production, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, was a record-breaking hit, and she was the driving force behind the film of the musical Mamma Mia!. A singer/songwriter, Rita released her critically acclaimed debut albumAM/FM (Decca) in 2012, performed a recent series of sold-out shows at Café Carlyle, and will release a new album of original songs in 2015.

JAYNE HOUDYSHELL
Gloria Drexel

Jayne Houdyshell was nominated for Tony Awards for her performances in the most recent revival of Follies and the Broadway production of Well. She won Obie and Theatre World Awards for Well's original run at the Public Theater. Her other Broadway appearances include Romeo and Juliet, Wicked, Bye Bye Birdie, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Dead Accounts. Recent Off-Broadway productions include Horton Foote's Harrison, TX;Coraline; The New Century; The Receptionist; and The Pain and the Itch. She appeared in the films Lucky Stiff, Everybody's Fine, Morning Glory, Changing Lanes, Garden State, and Trust the Man. Television credits include "Elementary," "Blue Bloods," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," and a recurring role on NBC's new series "Odyssey."

ROSIE PEREZ

Rosie Perez starred on Broadway inThe Ritz, Reckless, The Play What I Wrote, and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. Off-Broadway credits include Close Up Space (Manhattan Theatre Club), References to Salvador Dalí Make Me Hot (Public Theater), and The Vagina Monologues. An Academy Award nominee for her performance in the film Fearless, her many film credits include Do the Right Thing, White Men Can't Jump, It Could Happen to You,Perdita Durango, The 24 Hour Woman, Riding in Cars with Boys, andThe Take (Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress). Television credits include "Lackawanna Blues" and "Lies in Plain Sight," and appearances on numerous series including "In Living Color" (which she also choreographed, earning three consecutive Emmy Award nominations for her choreography), "Frasier," "Lipstick Jungle," and "Nurse Jackie." She is currently a co-host of ABC-TV's "The View" and serves as the artistic chair of Urban Arts Partnership.

BEN SHENKMAN

Broadway credits include Sight Unseen, Proof (Tony Award nomination), and The Deep Blue Sea. He is known to TV audiences as Louis Ironson in the miniseries "Angels in America" (Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations), and as Dr. Jeremiah Sacani on USA Network's "Royal Pains." He has also had regular roles on "The Paul Reiser Show" and "Canterbury's Law," and recurring roles on "Lights Out," "Damages," "Burn Notice," "Grey's Anatomy," and the upcoming HBO miniseries "Crime." Film appearances include Blue Valentine, Solitary Man, Then She Found Me, Just Like Heaven, Must Love Dogs, Roger Dodger, Personal Velocity, Jesus' Son, Requiem for a Dream, and Pi.

LEWIS J. STADLEN

Lewis J. Stadlen has starred on Broadway in The Nance, TheProducers, 45 Seconds From Broadway, The Man Who Came to Dinner (Drama Desk Award nomination), Laughter on the 23rdFloor, the 1996 production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Tony Award nomination), the female version of The Odd Couple, the 1974 production of Candide (Tony nomination), The Sunshine Boys, andMinnie's Boys (Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theatre World Awards). In addition, he has starred in the national tours of The Producers, Guys and Dolls, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Oklahoma!, The Time of Your Life, and Fiddler on the Roof. His film and television credits include In & Out, To Be or Not to Be, Windy City, The Verdict,Serpico, Portnoy's Complaint, "Smash," "Damages," and "The Sopranos."

JAKE CANNAVALE
Diego

Jake Cannavale is making his Broadway debut in Fish In the Dark.He has appeared Off-Broadway in the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater production of Basilica. He has been seen in the films Romance & Cigarettes and Send, and on television in "Nurse Jackie." Cannavale is currently the lead singer of the grindcore band Piss.

MARYLOUISE BURKE
Rose Kantor

Marylouise Burke won a Drama Desk Award for her performance in Fuddy Meers at Manhattan Theatre Club and an Obie Award in 2014 for Sustained Excellence of Performance. Her Broadway credits include Into the Woods, Inherit the Wind, and Is He Dead?. Off-Broadway, she was seen recently in Rx;Love, Loss, and What I Wore; The Savannah Disputation; The Oldest Profession; Kimberly Akimbo; and Wonder of the World. She has appeared in many films, including Sideways, Series 7, Doubt, Ira & Abby, A Prairie Home Companion, Must Love Dogs, Meet Joe Black, and Sleepwalk With Me. Her television appearances include "Alpha House," "30 Rock," "Fringe," "Law & Order," and "Hung."

JERRY ADLER
Sidney Drexel

Jerry Adler is a veteran of more than 50 Broadway productions as producer, director, and production stage manager. He stage managed the original Broadway production of My Fair Lady. Following his work backstage, he began a new career as an actor, appearing in many television programs, including "The Sopranos," in which he starred as Hesh throughout that award-winning HBO production's run. Recent films include In Her Shoesand Prime. He can currently be seen in the film A Most Violent Year,and appears regularly on the CBS series "The Good Wife." He is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut.

Off-Broadway and regional credits include Almost Home (Directors Company), An Early History of Fire (New Group), Be a Good Little Widow (Ars Nova), Othello (Old Globe), The Little Dog Laughed (Hartford TheaterWorks), and After Ashley (IRNE Award nomination, Company One Theatre). Molly Ranson made her Broadway debut in the Steppenwolf Theatre Company's production of August: Osage County, which she subsequently performed at the National Theatre in London (Olivier Award nomination for Best Company Performance) and the Sydney Theatre Company in Australia. Additionally, she appeared on Broadway in Jerusalem. Off-Broadway she has appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Bad Jews (Lucille Lortel Award nomination), in MCC Theater's production of Carrie (Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, and Drama League Award nominations), and in the Playwrights Horizons/Vineyard Theatre production of The Burnt Part Boys.
