From press release
After two years of karting, Giuliano Alesi, son of former Formula 1 star Jean Alesi, will contest his first season in car racing. Alesi junior has chosen to enroll in the famous single-seater school of the French Motor Sport Federation and will contest the French Formula 4 Championship this year.
His registration as a student in the Auto Sport Academy is a great springboard for Giuliano Alesi to start his career in single-seaters. A motorsport fan since his childhood and already admiring his father's career, the young driver from Avignon hopes to rise through the ranks of the sport he loves. The winter test days on the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans showed that Giuliano is ready to make his debut in car racing.
Following the winter tests and two official collective tests to be held at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit, Giuliano Alesi will take part in his first car race in the French F4 Championship to be held as part of the GT Tour April 18 and 19 at Ledenon. "I am very happy and looking forward to starting my career in single-seaters, and I intend to prepare myself in the best way possible before making my debut in the first meeting at Ledenon,” said Giuliano Alesi in the press release.
