BAGHDAD / NINA / Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi confirmed Iraq's desire to strengthen relations with the countries of the world, especially with Italy as well as expand the horizons of cooperation in the oil and gas fields. A statement for the Ministry of Oil said, "Adel Abdul-Mahdi met the Italian ambassador in Baghdad Massimo Marut to discuss issues of common interest between the two countries, especially in economic and energy fields and ways to develop them."
