Veteran Carnatic musicians Koniki Satyanarayana and Nelabhotla Ranganayaka Sarma will be honoured with ‘Panchalavarapu Prasada Lifetime achievement award’ by the Thyagaraja Mandiram here on March 15 as part of the Thyagaraja Aradhana festival.

Thyagaraja Mandiram Managing Trustee P. Ramachandra Murthy told reporters here on Wednesday that a music workshop on Bhakta Ramadas Sankeertanulu, sponsored by the Alivelumanga Sarvaiah Charitable Trust would be organised on March 14. The skills of budding musicians would be honed by Dr. K. Seshulatha Vishwanath, a retired professor from Potti Sriramulu University. The participants would get a chance to sing at Bhadrachalam, he said.
