Former VHP chief takes diksha to become monk in north Gujarat

Former president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) of Patan district Dr. Bharatbhai Shah took diksha to become Jain monk in Thara village of Kankrej taluka in north Gujarat. Bharatbhai’s wife also took diksha and left worldly life.
Dr. Bharatbhai has been given new name ‘Hempadmaratna Vijayji Maharaj’ by his Guru.
Thara was witnessing preparations for diksha mahotsav for last fortnight. Acharya Hem Prabhusurishwarji Maharaj Saheb’s Guru Balmuni Maharaj Saheb and other Jain monks were present on this occasion.
