Xperia unveils Collaborativ PLM suite for apparel firms

Apparel and footwear industry software expert, Xperia Solutions, has launched the new Collaborativ Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software suite, to speed up the product development cycle, lower costs, improve communications, and enable customers to rapidly bring apparel and footwear products to market.
The software, which is integrated with the company’s Comprehensiv Enterprise System (ERP), is easy to learn and use and has quick-to-implement programs for customers. With a robust PLM functionality, it helps increase efficiency and speeds up collaboration among development team and supply chain members, Xperia said in a press release.
The PLM suite helps organize and browse by brand, season, product, customer, license, supplier, or any combination, and receive online notification of comments and approvals.
It is flexible and configurable to capture all specifications such as colours, sizes, graphics, graded measurement specs, and full bill of materials, with all changes logged for easy auditing.
