    Handmade bombs explode near court at Dhaka’s Bakhsibazar

    Handmade bombs have exploded near Dhaka’s Third Special Judge’s Court that operates from a makeshift set up at  Bakshibazar.

    The court is hearing graft cases against BNP Chairpersons Khaleda Zia on Wednesday in her absence.

    Around 12.10pm, three crude bombs exploded on the street to the northern side of the Madrasa Education Board, just 200 yards off the court at the Aliya Madrasa grounds.

    No one was injured in the explosions, said Chawkbazar police OC Azizul Haque.
