ISKCON plans series of events

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Sagar Nagar, will be organising a series of programmes this month. On the occasion of Gaura Purnima on Thursday, bhajan kirtan, arati, discourse on Gaura Lila and feast prasadam will be held from 5 p.m. onwards at the ISKCON premises.

A humorous drama with a witty response to the recently released film ‘Gopala Gopala’ will be staged at Kalabharati auditorium on March 8 from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. On March 14, a colourful cultural programme will be staged by school children at Kalabharati auditorium.

Day-long events will mark the celebration of Sri Rama Navami on March 28. The highlights include kalyanam which will begin from 10 a.m. and ‘Ramakatha’ from 5 p.m. Bhajan kirtan, arati, discourse on Ram Leela and feast prasadam will also be held.
