Puneeth, Upendra's role in Krishna Leela

For their upcoming film Krishna Leela, director Shashank and actor-producer Krishna Ajai Rao have chosen two Kannada superstars — Puneeth Rajkumar and Upendra — to lend their voice to the soundtrack.
Shashank says, “Puneeth’s songPesal Man is the hero’s introduction song. It is about the common man being the real hero and introduces Ajai’s character — that of a school van driver, to the audience. As for Upendra, he renders a song that will work as a background narrative through the film.In a sense, he is the director’s voice. I wanted a director to sing this track and who better than Upendra, who is my idol too.”
