Kareena Kapoor to do an item song with Sidharth Malhotra in Karan Johar’s ‘Brothers’

Kareena Kapoor has been shooting for an item number for Johar’s production, Brothers with Sidharth Malhotra.

Ever since her marriage to Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor has limited herself to commercial films, sometimes as the leading lady and at other times in a cameo for her friends. While her last film was Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Returns’, her last appearance was in her husband’s film, ‘Happy Ending’. (Read: First look of Sidharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar in Brothers)

Even as the shooting for her next, the big-ticket Bajrangi Bhaijaan, opposite Salman Khan, is underway, she has taken time out to oblige her long-time friend Karan Johar. The actor has been shooting for an item number for Johar’s production, Brothers. The film, helmed by Karan Malhotra, will see Kareena woo Sidharth Malhotra.

The song titled, Merry Mary will have Kareena seducing Sidharth.

Kareena Kapoor has done several hit numbers, including Chammak Challo for Ra.One and Fevicol Se for Dabangg 2. The film with Malhotra and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, has Jacqueline Fernandez play the leading lady. It is the official remake of the 2011 Hollywood movie Warriors where two brothers reconcile with their tumultuous past after entering a mixed martial arts competition.
