Be more innovative, students told

Prof. I.V. Murali Krishna, Distinguished Fellow, DRDO, said that students should be motivated towards research and come up with innovations.

Participating in the Science Day celebrations held at GITAM University at Rudraram on Saturday, , Prof. Murali Krishna said that students pursuing post-graduation and doctorate are hardly less than the one percentage of the total graduate students. He said that universities should encourage students in this regard.

Prof. R. Siva Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor (R&D) informed the students about the different thrust areas of research in engineering. Prof. N. Siva Prasad, Director, School of Technology advised the students to be attentive in class.
