Small fire brought under control in Ras Al Khaimah

A small fire was reported in a small factory in Ras Al Khaimah.

According to reports, the fire was due to a short circuit which caused heavy smoke to spread throughout the vicinity.

Firefighters of the Civil Defense Department quickly acted to bring it under control.

A source at RAK Civil Defense said that the operations room received a call that thick smoke had spread in most parts of the vicinity.

Civil defense, rescue vehicles and ambulances were immediately rushed to the site.

However, he added the situation was dealt with professionally and smoke from the corridors was cleared out.

No injuries were reported among in the incident.
