Iftikhar seeks full execution of NAP

PESHAWAR - Awami National Party (ANP) General Secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain on Sunday urged the federal and provincial governments to ensure implementation of National Action Plan and take effective steps against terrorists to save the future of next generation.
“Now there is no room for any mistake. The government and all the state institutions will have to deliver to rid the country of terrorism,” Iftikhar said while addressing the party workers in Sialkot during party convention.
Senior Vice President Woman Wing Bushra Gohar, ANP Punjab President Manzoor Khan and ANP Punjab General Secretary Jehangir Khan were also present on the occasion.
Iftikhar said that the steps were being initiated for effective implementation of NAP to eradicate terrorism and establishment of sustainable peace in the country.
He said that in order to eliminate terrorism the federal and provincial governments should ensure implementation of NAP to get rid the menace of militancy.
Commenting on the regional situation, the ANP leader said China could play an important role in this region in future.
He underlined the need for further bolstering Pak-Afghan relations which would help in bringing all Taliban forces to negotiation table, besides further improvement in relation between the two brotherly Islamic and neighbouring countries.
He asked the Punjab government to play the role of elder brother in the country and ensure protection of life and property of Pakhtuns labours working in various parts of Punjab.
He said that ANP will spread its network and Bacha Khan philosophy not only in Punjab but also in other parts of the country.
