LP activists threaten boycott

The Inner Line Permit (ILP) activists who staged sit-protests at various places in Manipur on Sunday threatened to boycott the last day of the budget session on Tuesday. They had already announced that the government and Ministers in particular will be boycotted if the contentious bill to regulate the entry and settlement of migrant workers is not passed on Monday.

Hundreds men and women and students staged the sit-in protests in three main women’s markets in Imphal town and all markets in the periphery.
