Iniya’s next is a romcom

Iniya, who played a negative role in her previous film Naan Sigappu Manithan, is all set for her next, which is said to be a romantic comedy.
The film, titled Kadhal Solla Neram Illai, has been shot in a village near Vizhupuram.
Director G Srinivasan says, “It’s a beautiful love story, with comedy elements. Iniya plays a healthcare assistant who comes down to a village for a job.The hero of the film is a happy-go-lucky guy, who realises what love is after his first encounter with Iniya.” He adds, “An interesting and off-beat song was shot in Kallakurichi village — all the people there were cooperative, and, in fact, some performed in the song, too. Most of them shaved their moustache in a funny way just for the song. The film will be on the lines of the classic comedy, Kadhalikka Neram Illa.”
Debutant Udhayakumar plays the lead, and comedian Ganja Karuppu plays a pivotal role in the film.
