Notorious
rowdysheeter Silent Sunila, who made headlines with his name being associated with the Bekkina Kannu Rajendra (another rowdysheeter) murder case, is all set to reveal his life story. In a rare occurance, he will be playing himself in the film and will star as the protagonist in the
Agni Sridhar and
Soori collaboration film Silent Sunila. The film, which was flagged off over the weekend, is one of the few films which stars an accused as himself, something that's only previously seen in Iranian cinema before.
In Sandalwood, filmmaker AMR Ramesh had tried to rope in slain brigand Veerappan’s wife Muthulakshmi to play herself in his Veerappan biopic, but she hesitated. Looks like
Silent Sunila is all set to create history on Indian celluloid.
