Jackets, blazers and coats look good on women. They can be teamed with formal and casual outfits. So, a well-fitting jacket is a must.
Dresses are a must-have in a girl’s wardrobe. Though several fashionistas recommend the Little Black Dress (LBD), women should opt for dresses in varied colours and designs.Currently, lace dresses and party wear with boat necks are in fashion.
Indian outfits are very elegant, and young women should have salwar suits. Though anarkali salwars are in style now, women tend to go wrong with them. I would recommend chikankari salwars — they are simple and classy.
When it comes to footwear, women should invest in ballerinas. They come in varied colours and go well with your casual wear. When it comes to heels, I prefer wedges to stilettos. They are comfortable and go well with all kinds of clothing.
Earlier, makeup was restricted only to special occasions, but today everyone wears some amount of makeup on a daily basis. The traditional kohl and liner are a must. However, young girls can experiment with a plethora of colours that are available.
Nail paints add a spark to your overall look. Go for manicures and keep your nails healthy. When it comes to nail paints, colours like black, electric blue and other mattefinished nail paints, among others, are in vogue. However, it’s important to match your nail paint with your skin tone and the outfit you are wearing.
Women should invest in watches. My suggestions would be metal or leather strapped-watches in colours like silver, gold and rosemary. They go well with all kinds of outfits and colours.
When it comes to bags, I suggest sling bags compared to the oversized variety. They are not only trendy, but are also quite spacious.
Summer is here and it’s time to spruce up your look by sporting a hat. Be it holidaying or stepping out with a group of friends to a beach --hats make you look smart.
Instead of a staple pair of jeans, women can opt for jeggings, which are in vogue right now. You can pair them with kurtas, kaftans and even trendy tops.
