Rekha Bhardwaj performs at Hindu College's annual cutural festival Mecca'15 in Delhi

Rekha Bhardwaj recently performed at Hindu college as part of Mecca'15, the college's annual cultural fest, organized in association with the Times of India.
Bhardwaj, who is an alumna of Hindu, did not make the students wait for too long. "I feel very nostalgic, coming back here after some 20-30 years. I still remember what all we used to do and be like back then.Main bahut shormachatithi. I spent most of my college years in the college canteen and at the sports ground. Sports ground because Vishal (Bhardwaj) used to love playing cricket.And there used to be a small dhaba behind the college where we would go eat. I have missed this place and this energy a lot. It feels great to be back here," the singer said to a hooting audience.
The singer started with some of her older Bollywood numbers and then moved to some of the more recent ones, like Kabira and Darling. Although a large number of students from across DU had come to watch Rekha perform, there were no security issues. Richa, a third-year student said, "I don't know if the crowd is so well-behaved because the security is incredibly tight or because she is not one of those singers who jump around a lot on the stage."
