KBR reverses to huge Q4 loss

Shares of the engineering and construction company plunged 8.9% to 16.29 after it reported a 59-cent per-share loss ex 1-time items, reversing from a 54-cent profit a year earlier, and far below estimates of a 21-cent profit. KBR (KBR), which is in the midst of a reorganization along market lines, said Q4 revenue fell 19% to $1.42 bil as oilfield company customers kept a tight lid on spending. Wall St. expected $1.63 bil. KBR's '15 EPS guidance of $1.07-$1.22 was roughly in line with views for $1.16.
