Expo on water management

A three-day conference on waste water management, water harvesting and audit, desalination and membrane technologies – Water Expo 2015 — began on Friday.

The conference is aimed at finding solutions to challenges in ensuring supply of safe drinking water and sharing knowledge. About 300 exhibitors from 17 countries are showcasing their products.

S. Shanmugam, managing director of Water Today, said the meet would cover topics, including green initiatives for sustainable water management and zero liquid discharge

International Union of Environment chairman S.Rajamani, environment expert S. Sundaramurthy and ‘Water Today’ magazine editor Naina Shah were present.
